Holsteiner sport horse broodmares at Cloverlone Broodmare Farm

Destiny Holsteiner mare by R-Saluut II - Contender

Cloverlone Broodmare Farm has owned, leased, bred, raised and trained Holsteiner sport horses since 1986. Frascati by Fasolt (last purebred Holsteiner stallion) was out of an approved AHHA TB mare, Miss Ree Ree. Frascati was the foundation broodmare for Cloverlone breeding. Her blood is in most of the young horses produced over 30 years. B-Cinderella was the second foundation mare added in the mid 90's. She was an imported premium Verband Holsteiner mare with stam 5585. It is not a large family but Cinderella's full sister in Germany produced a team horse for Germany, Claussen. The gelding was a jumper that would have jumped on team at Bejing Olympics if not for a trailer accident in Spain.

Since moving to Northern Virginia hunt country, many new mares have arrived due to owners retiring from breeding. Most of the mares now have more Dutch (KWPN) blood than Holsteiner. With so many mares available to us we can offer on farm breeding lease. Stallions are also available on farm for fresh breeding. Qui Dandy Windsor Z by Quidam de Revel is producing tall, fancy, talented youngsters with excellent trainability. Often the most talented horses are only for a professional. Dandy can be bred to a mare of any type and produce a stamped foal. He is perfect for the majority of American riders.

Not all the mares listed on this page are owned by Cloverlone. Please contact for breeding lease options.
